Reconditioned Senator 0" Stack Lift Stack Lift Machine

Machine Condition: Ready to be Reconditioned

What does “reconditioned” mean?
Reconditioning is a process used to completely strip down and refurbish an older machine to give that machine a new and productive life. This provides a cost-effective alternative to buying a new machine.

A reconditioned machine is completely stripped down, disassembled and inspected in our full-service rebuilding facility. We thoroughly clean the machine base, frame, and all components. We identify worn parts and either repair or replace them. We then restore guiding surfaces to like-new tolerances by machining all relevant components: machine frames, guiding surfaces. Repainting is an option but not performed on all machines. We then reassemble the refreshed paper cutter and conduct thorough testing to ensure it’s up to current standards and is running in peak condition before we prepare for shipment.

We take tremendous pride in our reconditioned process. Our reconditioning team has decades of experience with all makes and models of paper cutters and paper handling equipment.

Brand History

Originally started as an agricultural manufacturer in 1898, Schneider introduced the first Senator industrial paper cutter, featuring a hydraulic clamp and knife, in 1948. The more recent models of Schneider Senator paper cutters were the S Line and the H line. The factory ceased operation in early 2018. Colter & Peterson offers update kits for many of the Schneider guillotine paper cutter models.
